Caitlyn and Matthew – all the way from the UK to be married in Canberra

Caitlyn returned home to Australia with her man (Matthew) in tow, to be married at The Boat House.

Matthew’s family also flew over for the beautiful ceremony that was conducted by Caitlyn’s father – how many brides can say they were married by their dad!!

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the gorgeous weather to get some fun shots before returning to The Boat House for the reception.

Verity and Matthew’s perfect day

I still have to pinch myself every now and then to realise that I do have such a fantastic job and that I really do get to experience such an amazing day with my wonderful couples.

The day couldn’t have gone any better!   They were both so excited and didn’t stop smiling all day!

Not even the late afternoon dark clouds affected the fun and energy of the day and once again we were lucky as it didn’t rain (poured!!) until we were safely inside the Commonwealth Club for the reception.

Gold Creek Chapel Wedding

Tracey and Craig get married at Gold Creek Chapel

There was plenty of activity when we arrived at the girls place where the ladies were busy helping Tracey into her beautiful gown.   Everyone was very excited and a few champagnes were needed to calm the nerves.

Over at the Chapel, Craig was a little nervous, but his bridal party kept him laughing and chatting until Tracey arrived.   The girls looked stunning as they walked down the isle and when Tracey arrived in the doorway, I am pretty sure I saw a little tear in Craigs eyes!!

After a wonderful ceremony by Mary-Ann O’Sullivan, we started to race the threatening dark clouds to get some beautiful photos before the rain came – and we did it – we had just finished when down it came as heavy as I have seen for ages.

But we didn’t care by then as we were safely inside The Boathouse where Stan from 3D Entertainment cranked up the music and some energetic dancing and slick moves by the boys ensured a perfect day for all.

Gorgeous photos of a stunningly gorgeous wedding party! Congrats to Tracey & Craig. Looks like it was a beautiful day :-)

Rikki and Dean’s wedding at Kamberra Winery

We took our photos before the ceremony and arranged a ‘surprise’ for Dean by making the boys face the wall and then turning around to see Rikki and her bridesmaids for the first time – I think I saw a tear in his eyes!!

We had a fun time wandering and driving around a friends property to get the photos – even had one of Rikki’s sister’s horses join in for the shoot!  After  heaps of photos and a few champagnes (not me – sadly), we headed back to Rikki’s parents place for a shot with the truck.  It was then off to Kamberra Winery for the ceremony and the reception.

The ceremony was made even more special as they were very lucky to have Rikki’s Aunty conduct the ceremony – the very wonderful Mary-Ann O’Sullivan.

Sarvee and Raj are married in Canberra

The very lovely Sarvee was a bridesmaid in her close friend Vanessa’s (and Yun) wedding that I had previously shot – and now it was her day to be married.

Sarvee was so excited and couldn’t wait to be married to the very handsome Raj.  Raj’s eyes lit up when he saw Sarvee for the first time and his smile never left his face for the rest of the day – a very happy man!

We started at the Hyatt and then wandered down to the lake where we enjoyed the perfect weather before travelling to The Abbey at Gold Creek for the ceremony and lunch reception.  A wonderful day!
