Lauren and Joshua’s Canberra wedding

Another beautiful Canberra day for the fantastic wedding of Lauren and Joshua. The ceremony was held at the Senate Courtyard of Old Parliament House. The photo shoot was great fun as we had to dodge massive spider webs to get some shots amongst the trees and did a good copy of the traditional Russian tourist photo – thats the one with no expression!!!

Davina and Gerard’s wedding at Lake George Winery

The extremely green, Lake George Winery was an excellent venue for Davina and Gerard’s wedding. Even the heavy rain didn’t stop us having a fantastic day. The guests were very brave when we did our group photo – we were just about set up when the heavens opened up – but everyone put on a brave face and stuck it out – well done guys! The rain eased and we were off! Racing around the grounds (and sliding in the cars! – well my little one anyway – could be my poor driving) making the most of the break in the weather – in fact the rain didn’t take away any of the fun we had – it even enhanced the types of shots we were able to get. The whole bridal party were out for a good time and we definitely had that. And have you ever seen such a yummy lolly bar!!! I think it was the most popular place to be! A great day made even better by the fun loving and very much in love couple.

What an amazing couple! I think we spent the whole day laughing and everyone was clearly enjoying themselves as we raced the clock to get some shots before dark. The ceremony was at Gold Creek Chapel and we finished the night at the Hellenic Club.

What can I say. A wonderful couple, fun loving bridal party and some great locations. I was fortunate enough to have Haley Richardson along as a second shooter and the lovely Annie who helped out as the rain started, the cars were nearly bogged and the girls were turning blue from the cool wind. Haley and I captured some exciting shots.

Such an amazing day. After doing shots at their respective homes, it was off to Saint Christophers in Manuka for the wedding ceremony. We had a ball on the photo shoot until the cool weather started to take its toll, so it was off to the Southern Cross Club in Woden for the reception. There wasn’t a dry eye when Lisa and Aaron were doing their parent dance. A perfect wedding and a perfect couple.

I have been lucky enough to have know Pedro for a couple of years so it felt like I was sharing the day with good friends. Rosa had her dream of the horse and carriage which looked magnificant and allowed me to use it to get some great shots. The horse was so patient, stood there quietly the whole time (and no poo! – well i didn’t see any). After Saint Christophers, we did some shots with the carriage and then drove to Mount Stromlo – fantastic cars guys!! I pulled out the box brownie and we had some fun doing some retro shots. Was having so much fun Maggie had to tell me to stop shooting! Thank you so much for allowing me to share your day.
