Amie and Anthony – Couple photo session

The very lovely Amie and Anthony are getting married in June 2012 – so to fill in a little bit of time, we went on a photo shoot. Luckily the sun was out and it wasn’t too cold a day to get some great shots of these two.

Louise and Shane’s Country Wedding

Louise and Shane’s wedding was held on one of their very close friends(and neighbours) property in Adaminaby. And what an awesome day it was. They had a beautiful ceremony under the trees and then the adventure started as we did some shots around the farm before heading off in the 4wds to explore the huge property. The old sheep pens were a great backdrop and the amazing texture of the gum trees helped add some vibrant colour. And no, it wasn’t a shot gun wedding, they actually do love each other!!! (very much)

At the reception I was amazed by how much talent there was within their group of friends. The band – Sly Dogs – were very kind and allowed some of the guests to have a go at singing, drums and back up vocals – they did a fantastic job.

Catherine and David’s Wedding

How lucky can you be? It was one of those days where the clouds were heavy and dark and it could have rained at any minute, but it only rained during the ceremony (we were inside) and a few drops during the family photos – so overall – yay!!

We had an awesome day. After the ceremony at the Chapel in Gold Creek, we visited the National Library where David taught Catherine the romantic way to eat chips!! We then viisted the art gallery for some fun shots – and for any Greenies – we didn’t really cut the tree! After the shoot it was party time at The Abbey.

Tracey and Michael’s Wedding

Tracey and Michael sure know how to keep busy! They had their wedding and were moving house all in the same week!! These two are amazing. They were very calm and I didn’t notice any nerves, well, there were some nerves. Our Page boy was doing well until he saw everyone looking at him, and then changed his mind about continuing – very cute! Judy Aulich did an excellent job and had everyone laughing during the ceremony. Tracey added to it by struggling to get Michael’s ring on his finger, (maybe he was nervous?).

Nicole and Dylan’s wedding – The Abbey

The drought has broken!!! Another wet and wild day but that didn’t affect anyone and their wasn’t a gloomy face to be seen. The ceremony was beautifully done (as laways) by Judy Aulich and it was hard not to get a bit teary. Nicole and Dylan are an amazing couple who made my work easier by being so much in love.

Lauren and Brendon’s Wedding

Their wedding day happened to be on one of those cold and very windy days in Canberra. It was fantastic seeing so many of their students turn up to watch the ceremony - in fact the church was full – standing room only!! Despite the freezing gusty wind, we had a ball and were entertained with Brendans excellent dance routine.

Megan and Will – Couple shoot

Megan and Will are getting married in April next year anddecided to get some shots they could use for invitations and just for fun. They brought along their big puppy for the first part of the shoot and then we visited some alleys to get a different feel to the photos. A fun day.

This time of year has the most beautiful light in the late afternoon. After a wonderful ceremony at the Chapel at Gold Creek we drove to the Wallaroo winery near Hall and took advantage of the very fast fading light. Such a wonderful couple and I know they enjoyed the day as much as I did.
