Kirsty and Brett get married

The first wedding of the year of the Dragon – 2012.

After a beautiful ceremony conducted by Father Mark at Holy Spirit in Amaroo, we took advantage of the warm weather and did our photo shoot around the very versatile grounds of the National Gallery . It was one of those days where I realise how lucky I am to be able to spend time with some amazing people who are very much in love and so much fun to be around. I think Kirsty takes the record for a bride that smiled the most because she was just so happy!

After dancing and generally having lots of fun in the gardens, we went to The Abbey for the reception.

Bec and Dan had an amazing day. Everything went smoothly and the retro and Movember influence was brilliantly done. Never seen so many ladies with a mo!! Poachers Pantry was the perfect venue for their wedding and everyone had a crazy time in the Mugshots photo Booth. What more can I say – the photos tell the story.

Amanda and Adam’s wedding

What an emotional wedding! There were tears galore at the ceremony and I don’t think there was a dry eye anywhere as Amanda and Adam exchanged their vows. There was plenty of fun and laughter on the shoot though, as we chased the fading rays of the warm sun. And even more fun and energy at the reception. A wonderful day spent with a beautiful couple.

Rebecca and Jon’s Canberra Wedding

If there was ever a wedding that had it all, Bec and Jon’s wedding must be the one!!

We had bridesmaid wars, mini mafia, beautiful locations, a very cute flower girl who walked the whole way (with a bit of help), extreme wind mixed with hot sun then cool cloud, fun loving bridal party, jet fighters, huge fireworks, stunning bride and dashing groom and some of the most energetic dancing I have ever seen. What more could one want??? Nothing, as it was a perfect wedding day.

(There weren’t really any bridesmaid wars – they love each other to bits – but the knife is real!!!)

Sarah and Adam’s Wedding

The dark clouds were hanging around all day and even some of the guests tested their brollies (some failed), but Sarah and Adam’s wedding day was perfect. Our little flower girl was doing a fantastic job until the last few steps – then it was flowers down and she ran off to find her dad – not happy! We had heaps of fun wandering around the very beautiful grounds of The Devine Function Centre at Kamberra Winery in Canberra.

The drought has broken!!! Another wet and wild day but that didn’t affect anyone and their wasn’t a gloomy face to be seen. The ceremony was beautifully done (as laways) by Judy Aulich and it was hard not to get a bit teary. Nicole and Dylan are an amazing couple who made my work easier by being so much in love.

Lauren and Brendon’s Wedding

Their wedding day happened to be on one of those cold and very windy days in Canberra. It was fantastic seeing so many of their students turn up to watch the ceremony - in fact the church was full – standing room only!! Despite the freezing gusty wind, we had a ball and were entertained with Brendans excellent dance routine.

It was wonderful to shoot a wedding without the rain!!! You could feel the love between these two and it was fantastic to be there and share their wedding day. There were tears, laughter and loads of nerves at Saint Christophers church but then everyone relaxed after the ceremony and we had an amazing day. Amanda and Brad had the use of A1 Classic Cars flagship (driven by Tim), which complemented the style of photographs we set out to get.

I think the drought has broken!! We had a very wet day complete with horizontal rain! But that didn’t stop anyone from having fun as we raced around trying to find the driest places we could. The girls were very brave as they steped out of their yummy warm coats to get the shots. The ceremony was at Saint Andrews Church.

Kathleen and Jason – Canberra Wedding

The amazing Jason and Kathleen were married in August and we were lucky to have dry weather which was fantastic for getting some shots with the old cars. I am not sure what Jason was saying to Kathleen but she spent most of the day laughing and obviously having a wonderful time.
