Rebecca and Hector’s wedding

I posted a sneak peak prior to Christmas so here are some more photos.

Kelly and I were lucky enough to have been chosen by these two to cover their wedding.   Whilst Kelly took care of the girls (see her blog), I looked after the guys and then we both were able to shoot the rest of the wedding in our own way.

From start to finish, emotions were high, so I had plenty of opportunities to capture the tears, love, fun and excitement as the day (and night) unfolded.

From the beautiful ceremony at the Gold Creek Chapel right through the shoot and reception at Bec’s parents (Lyn and John) property near Hall, these two were so easy to photograph because of how much they are in love with each other.  Sigh!

On a personal note, I have know Rebecca for years and when I saw her step from the car ………… yes, it was hard to shoot with a tear in my eye!

Enjoy and remember to look at the previous post as well.

Michelle and Jamie’s Scottish wedding

What a wonderful day spent with an amazing couple and a fun bridal party.

After visiting the girls at the Hyatt for the pre wedding photos, it was off to Holy Spirit Church for the ceremony conducted by Father Mark (twice in a row!).

We then loaded everyone into the stretch Hummer and headed off to Stromlo for our photos.  You could hear the Hummer from miles away as they all arrived with the music pumping and champagne flowing.

The photo shoot was amazing and I even learnt what the Scottish men folk wear under the kilts!!!!  Didn’t include that photo in this blog!

It was then back to the Boathouse for the reception and some very emotional and funny speeches.  Michelle and Jamie had one of our photo booths as well, so you can see some crazy photos on the Mugshots Photobooths facebook page.

Kirsty and Brett get married

The first wedding of the year of the Dragon – 2012.

After a beautiful ceremony conducted by Father Mark at Holy Spirit in Amaroo, we took advantage of the warm weather and did our photo shoot around the very versatile grounds of the National Gallery .   It was one of those days where I realise how lucky I am to be able to spend time with some amazing people who are very much in love and so much fun to be around.  I think Kirsty takes the record for a bride that smiled the most because she was just so happy!

After dancing and generally having lots of fun in the gardens, we went to The Abbey for the reception.

Monika and Hector’s wedding

Wow!!  What an amazing day!  We arrived where the boys were getting ready to find Hector running up and down the street in his undies (it was for the video) – great shots!  Monika looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress and I loved the bright colour of the bridesmaids dresses.

Everything flowed smoothly and we were lucky enough to be able to go to a number of fantastic locations to get some amazing shots.

The colourful  reception was held at the Southern Cross Club and what a night!  Heaps of traditional dancing, yummy lolly bar (I only had 2!!), lots of laughter and a few tears during the speeches – perfect!

Fiona and David – Lake Crackenback

You never know what the weather will do in the Snowy Mountains as it can change very quickly.  And change it did!!!  From warm sunny weather the day before the wedding to heavy rain that didn’t stop all day or night – sigh!

But Fi and David didn’t let that stop them from having a very special wedding day with all of their closest friends and family.  Lake Crackenback Resort lived up to it’s reputation for excellent facilities and amazing food, so by the end of the night everyone was well fed and watered.
